Welcome to Megy Studio
I was born in Brittany France and educated in Paris and London. From 1994 through 1998 I attended drawing classes at the Louvre, Parsons Fine Art School and Atelier Nicolas Poussin.
I painted in Paris until 2000 when I moved my studio in San Jose California. As of today I am living on the East coast of the US.
I started my career as a figurative painter working in acrylics on canvas and exploring genres of portraiture, landscape, still life and fantasy. In 2005 I was drawn to express the aesthetics of movement through abstraction and since then I am working on a modern, abstract body of work.
